What Gateway Water and Mold collects through this website and by phone, how we use it, and your choices.
Effective date: October 23, 2026
This policy explains what information Gateway Water and Mold LLC (“Gateway”, “we”) collects through gatewaywatermold.com and by phone, how we use it, and the choices you have. Gateway Water and Mold LLC, 2356 State St, Unit 1N, Alton, IL 62002, (314) 947-3419.
What we collect
- Contact form. The name, phone number, email address, property address and message you type into our contact form.
- How you found us. When you submit the form, your browser tells us which page you landed on, which page you sent the form from, and a broad traffic channel (for example search, Google Business Profile, paid ad, referral or direct). This is held in your browser’s session storage while you browse and is cleared when you close the tab.
- Site analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, including page views and events such as a phone-number tap or a form submission. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Phone calls. We do not record or transcribe calls.
- Job information. If we work at your property, we collect what the job requires: photos, moisture readings, notes about affected materials, and mold samples sent to an independent laboratory for analysis.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, schedule and perform work, and send estimates and documentation.
- To prepare documentation you ask us to give your insurance carrier.
- To understand which pages and channels bring inquiries, so we can improve the site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who receives it
- Our owner. Contact-form submissions are delivered by email to the owner of Gateway, who also owns our sister company AirSense Environmental and receives mail at an AirSense address.
- Your insurance carrier or adjuster, only when you ask us to send them documentation.
- Our laboratory, which receives mold samples with the information needed to analyse and report them.
- Service providers that run the website and analytics (our web host and Google), only as needed to provide those services.
- Anyone we are legally required to share it with.
How long we keep it
We keep website contact requests for up to 7 days unless they lead to a job. Records for jobs we perform are kept as long as needed for the work, any insurance claim, and our legal and tax obligations.
The website also keeps a short record for each form submission with no name or contact details: a reference number, the landing page, the traffic channel, and the service and city that page covers.
Your choices
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected].
- Block or delete cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above.
