Gateway/Service areas/St. Louis
St. Louis
service area.
We cover the entire Greater St. Louis metro, both sides of the river. The city, the county, North County, South County, West County, the Mid Rivers, the Riverbend (Alton, Godfrey, Grafton), and the Metro East (Edwardsville, Collinsville, Belleville, O’Fallon IL). Same crew, same 90-minute response standard, every neighborhood.
Why we know this market
Every St. Louis home
has its own water story.
St. Louis is one of the trickier metros in the country for water damage. Older brick housing stock with deep stone basements, combined sewer systems vulnerable to backup, four real seasons that beat up plumbing, and bad summer storms that overwhelm everything. We know what each of these does to a home, because we’ve seen it.
Older brick basements
Pre-war brick homes in University City, Webster Groves, Kirkwood, beautiful, but the stone foundations and unsealed walls weep when the water table rises. Different drying job from a finished modern basement.
Combined sewer backups
Large parts of the city and inner-ring run on combined storm-and-sanitary sewers. Heavy rain backs sewage into basements. We’ve handled hundreds of these, the cleanup has stricter protocols than a clean-water flood.
Summer storm flooding
The 2022 flash flood proved how quickly six inches of rain becomes thirty thousand flooded basements across the metro. Our dispatch model is built for these surge events.
Freeze-thaw pipe bursts
St. Louis winters cycle around freezing, the worst case for plumbing. Pipe bursts in attic spaces, exterior walls, and unconditioned crawl spaces. We carry winter-specific extraction setups November through March.
Where we cover
The whole metro.
Both sides of the river.
We dispatch from a central location and stage trucks across the metro for after-hours response. Most St. Louis addresses see a 30–90 minute on-site time, twenty-four seven. We service every major Illinois city within thirty miles of downtown St. Louis as part of the same response standard.

St. Louis specifics
Questions homeowners
here actually ask.
Do you handle sewer backups in the city?
Yes. Sewer backup is one of the most common water emergencies we handle in St. Louis City and the inner-ring suburbs because of the combined sewer infrastructure. Cleanup follows stricter Category 3 water protocols, we’re trained for it. Insurance coverage depends on whether you have a sewer-backup rider; we can usually tell you within a few minutes of arrival.
Are you set up for old brick basements?
Yes, a lot of our work is in pre-war housing stock. Stone and unsealed brick foundations dry differently than modern poured concrete. We use moisture-pin readings on masonry, not just surface meters, and our dehumidification setup is sized for the higher latent moisture loads in older basements.
Do you cover Illinois-side suburbs?
Yes, every Illinois city within roughly thirty miles of downtown St. Louis. The Riverbend (Alton, Godfrey, Bethalto, Wood River, Grafton, Jerseyville) and the Metro East (Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Collinsville, Granite City, Maryville IL, Belleville, Fairview Heights, O’Fallon IL, Troy IL). Same crew, same response standard, same insurance fluency.
What happens if there’s a major storm and everyone’s flooded at once?
We dispatch in order of severity. Active flooding (sewage, ongoing water source, occupied property with electrical risk) goes first. Standing-water-only jobs go next. We’re transparent about ETAs during surge events, if we can’t be there in 90 minutes, we tell you that on the phone.
Are you licensed and insured for commercial work?
Yes. We service commercial and multi-family properties in addition to residential. Liability + workers’ comp current; certificates available on request before work starts.
